We decided to avoid the crowds in Officer’s Square and stick to the green on the Northside this year. We had a great time playing frisbee and with beach balls. We also had a great tie in the Duck’s Unlimited facility – they had all sorts of things for the kids to do, free birthday cake, and a live music!
We missed Larissa and Randall – they were working.

Now that our guest (Kumiko) has returned to Japan, we are moving back into the office. We started some changes before she got here in Oct. 2011. We painted.
Well, we slapped up some baseboard trim, and patched a hole, and tada! All done – not all the furniture is back in, but we are starting….

Last weekend both kids participated in the science fair. Alex explained clouds, and demonstrated creating a cloud in a bottle. Hope looked at air canons, also called trodial vortexes. I just helped with the setup and then was off to a photo club workshop.
